“Mary asked the angel, “But how can this happen? I am a virgin.” (Luke 1:34, NLT).
Mary was going to go into something she had no idea of. It was something bigger than she, her nation, Israel, and the entire world. She was on the verge of making history. She was being given the blue print of her task of bringing forth the saviour into this world.
Mary was inexperienced. She was young. She was a virgin. But she was exactly what God wanted. A novice, a virgin. Someone who had never done before what God required of her.
A lot of times we want to wait until we have enough experience before pursuing our dreams. Because it seems impossible, there is a tendency to want to keep it by the side until a time when you feel you have enough experience to carry it out. Most times such dreams never come to pass because someone waited for a perfect time that never came.
2015 is almost here. Are there dreams or visions burning in your heart that seem unachievable? All that is required of you is to align your heart to see its possibility and apply yourself to it. Men who have achieved great things in past were “virgins”. They had not done such things before, they just dared to do the impossible. Start that business, write that book, pursue that Masters degree. Just do what you’ve never done before. Merry Christmas my friend. #BeInspired.
