After the encounter Mary had with an angel concerning her responsibility to carry God’s plan in her womb, she went to visit Elizabeth. She stayed with her for three months. In fact it was the angel that broke the news to Mary concerning Elizabeth’s pregnancy. Knowing that she was old and had been barren, her testimony was to build up Mary’s faith to believe God for the impossible.
Learn to listen to other people’s testimonies especially when it involves what you want to do. It will stir up your faith. Testimonies are personal prophecies that if God can do it for one, He can do it for all. The deciding factor here is faith. When you believe God and apply yourself to what He has done before, He will do even greater for you.
Notice from the verse above that when Elizabeth heard Mary’s voice, the baby in her leaped and she was filled with the Holy Spirit. There is something about meeting mentors to guide you in order to give birth to your dreams safely. Do not take it for granted. There is always something in them that jumps at the sight of you. They know you carry greatness. They’ll always want to help. Submit yourself to them.
Mary the inexperienced young girl, had to go look for Elizabeth, the experienced old woman ahead of her, and she stayed with her. A lot of us usually do not make the effort to look for mentors. There are mentor designed by God to guide you in life. You have to be led by God to know them. Not everyone has a right to speak into your life as a mentor. Maximise the use of a mentor in 2015 and listen to the testimonies of how they overcame. It will spur you to win. Compliments of the season my friend. #BeInspired.
