“And Abimelech took sheep, and oxen, and menservants, and womenservants, and gave them unto Abraham, and restored him Sarah his wife.” (Genesis 20:14, KJV).
This verse was picked from the story of Abraham, Sarah and King Abimelech. Abraham had come to live in Abimelech’s territory. But Abimelech fancied Sarah and took her as his wife, because Abraham had said Sarah was his sister. One night God intervened by a dream and told Abimelech to return Sarah, else he and his household would die.
See the kind of trouble Abraham nearly put that innocent man in. I feel that if Abimelech wasn’t a righteous man, God would have taken a more drastic measure. But when returning Sarah, Abimelech didn’t do so empty handed. He added 1, 000 pieces of silver to the gift of animals and servants (male and female) that he gave him. He also gave him lands because Abraham was given the right to live anywhere he chose to in the country. That’s a green card in our time.
The secret behind Abraham’s access to kings was the blessing upon his life and his obedient walk of purpose with God. He was conscious of the blessing of God working in his life. Do you know that along your path to purpose, God has stationed kings to make your journey easy? Isaiah 60: 16, KJV says that, “Thou shalt also suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shalt suck the breast of kings.”
Be diligent with what God has called you to do. He has designed kings to carry out his counsel upon your life to establish His will on the earth. By having access to kings, riches, gifts, lands and access to nations are the consequences. It is purpose and the blessing upon your life that will take you there. Discover purpose today. I decree that you shall ride on the high places of the earth. You shall subdue kingdoms, you shall possess the gates of nations, in the name of Jesus. Great day my friend. #BeInspired.
