“So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. ” (Galatians 6:9, NLT).

The temptation to get tired and quit over what you do especially when it is good will always come. The world sometimes does not have it as a culture to celebrate people who do good things. In fact when it doesn’t translate into fame, affluence and money, you are on your own.

Here, Paul is saying do not get tired of doing good. You may have started a business, an organisation, a vision or dream. Right now it may not have brought you popularity. People may have been calling you stupid. You may have been facing rejections. Keep doing what you are doing.

No one may have applauded that little good you do. It might even be that your spouse has turned blind eyes to all the love and sacrifice you put into your relationship. Do not be weary in doing well. God sees what you do and He and the hosts of heaven stand in ovation at what you do.

Quitting over a good you do will deprive many of the beauty that your goodness brings. Never let discouragement from people stop you. It is in giving the world your goodness that you find meaning to life. One thing is sure, there is always a harvest for every good seed you sow. It might take time but it will surely come. Every good farmer knows that seeds planted are not harvested the next day. Keep doing what you are doing. The world may not celebrate you, but they will respect you. Because they can’t do what you are doing. Great week ahead my friend. #BeInspired.
