“And you will recognise him by this sign: You will find a baby wrapped snugly in strips of cloth, lying in a manger.” (Luke 2:12, NLT).
The situation surrounding the birth of Jesus clearly speaks to me that where, when and how you were born do not determine the outcome of your life. By reason of purpose in God’s grand agenda, your parents and location of your birth is vital.
The truth is, in God’s eyes He sees greatness in everyone born into the earth. Whether you were born in the hospital, or at home, in the village or the city. Such conditions do not determine what you’ll eventually become in life. Jesus was God in Himself. The creator of the universe, a King and Lord over all. That was God’s impression about Him. Not a carpenter’s son born in a Manger.
The conditions God chose for Jesus’ birth place were nothing compared to who Jesus was. Yet He grew, waxed strong in spirit and became the greatest man that’ll ever live. The point here is that He made the choice to fulfil the great destiny planned for Him by God. He lived to determine the outcome of His life. The family, location and how He was born didn’t stop Him from becoming great in life.
Your background has nothing to do with who you will become in life. Whether you were born into a rich family or not. Whether you attended an international or local school. What qualifies you for greatness is the fact that you have been born into this earth. Having life is the first instalment by God for your success. No one can stop you except you. You’ve got no limit. You are a saviour to your generation. Saviours are usually born in a Manger. Great day my friend. #BeInspired.
