“You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others.” (2 Timothy 2:2, NLT).
Paul was a great leader who understood that the principle of success is tied to the replication of the truth he carried. He knew he was not a success until his message got to the fourth generation, not even just the next generation.
Passing the message of truth to his generation wasn’t enough, Timothy was the next generation and he needed Timothy to commit this same message to faithful men who would in turn teach others. No wonder Paul transcended many generations after. I am a product of this principle. I am one of those faithful men who is also teaching the same truth.
Greatness is not achieved in being the monopoly of knowledge. It is found in serving others this truth that you have come in contact with. Jesus is a perfect example of a leader that transferred the secret of His success freely to His disciples. And He commanded them to do same.
Leaving a lasting legacy takes effort. One way to do that is to be willing to give freely what you have received. You’ve got to have an abundance mentality to do that. Empty yourself in people, they will run with it and not faint. This is the way to keep changing your world even when you are no more. Great weekend my friend. #BeInspired.
