“This is the account of the creation of the heavens and the earth. When the lord God made the earth and the heavens, neither wild plants nor grains were growing on the earth. For the lord God had not yet sent rain to water the earth, and there were no people to cultivate the soil.” (Genesis 2:4-5, NLT).
The book of Genesis tells us that creation is a process. It clearly provides for us the step by step approach to making a vision or business work. As you can see in Genesis chapter one, God created everything on earth and rested. But then in chapter two the bibles says that there was not yet plants and grains growing on the surface of the earth.
This means that there are two phases of creation; the one that we cannot see, and the phase where we see it all. Visions/businesses/dreams are first created within. The mind creates a picture of them. From the office equipment, environment needed, to the people to carry it out, all are first created within. That was what happened in Genesis chapter one.
The second phase of creation happened in chapter two. God had not yet caused rain to fall and there were no people to run the vision. This phase of creation is the phase of action, taking steps to ensure the manifestation of your vision. The rain was supposed to provide an enabling environment for the seeds of God’s vision to be tangible, while the people would help to facilitate it growth, maintenance and establishment.
Two lessons to learn here. Every vision you have ever imagined and planned in your mind is real and done even though it is still invisible. The next is that you need to take action to make them become physical. You need people to drive your vision. So before renting office space, buying equipment, building structures, make sure you have solid people capable of making your vision work. Well planned and organised strategy always wins.
