There is something that we may never do without in life, and that is work. We have all been designed to work in life. This means that there is a vacuum left in everyman that only work can fill. Work in this sense means to live life in a way that adds value to humanity. In each of us is the ability to make our world a better place than we found it. This ability can only be expressed when we discover what our work is, and we do it.
What is this work I am talking about? It is our purpose for existence. It is the reason why God created us. It is our assignment on earth. Everyone has a purpose for living. Living this purpose should be our primary responsibility here on earth. We are expected to work here on earth so we can make our world a better place and so we can live fulfilled.
If you notice, this whole time I never said the word “job”. This is because your job and your work aren’t the same thing. Your job foots the bill but your work makes a difference. Creating a job out of your work makes life more fun. Think on that. So #BeforeYouLeadYourWayToTheAltar, you need to ask yourself, “What is the attitude of my potential spouse to their God-given work?”. Are they passionate about fulfilling God’s plan for their lives or they are comfortable just living life as it comes?
Many who have lived life without purpose never lived fulfilled. This emptiness always impacts negatively on their relationships. Unfortunately, some people erroneously think such a vacuum can be filled by their spouse. This cannot happen. So make sure your spouse to be is passionate about their work and are doing all it takes to daily live it. One of the deepest joys of marriage is fulfilling purpose together. How was your day?
You are the next big thing. Make it happen!
