The realm of the spirit is a potent reality that many of us are yet to lay hold on. It is the dimension of life that determines the physical outcome of our everyday living. The degree to which we master it will ultimately birth what we desire to see happen in our lives, and not what life presents to us. To master the spirit dimension is to learn to master life itself.
As a work in progress, we all may not have come to the fullness of this knowledge, but if we desire a deeper relationship with God, I believe He will call us up into His well of understanding. For the rest of this year, I will be throwing out inspirational thoughts to you. They are borne out of my relationship with a loving father, whom I call my God, and His willingness to shed His light on my path to understand a certain dimension of His natural habitat. My intention is to make you see the effectiveness of one of the currencies of the Spirit- gratitude.
Gratitude, in the spirit dimension, is like a down payment you make to purchase a thing. Many have aligned themselves with the school of thought that you only express gratitude after someone has done good to you. But that is a baby step level for using the currency called gratitude. When you show it in anticipation of what is yet to happen in your life, it breaks open supernatural doors on your behalf. Now that’s mixing your thanksgiving with faith. That’s a higher level of gratitude.
A typical example of this knowledge was expressed by Jesus at the tomb of Lazarus. John 11:41 (NKJV) says, “Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.” It was after thanking the father for constant access to answered prayers that He commanded Lazarus to come forth. And the dead man was brought back to life.
This principle has not changed yet. With gratitude you can bring into physical reality the unseen desires in your heart. In order to enjoy the power of gratitude in all ramifications, we will start from the basics and then we will move into the deep waters. So we will begin by thanking God for the gift of life.
At about 11:15pm, two nights ago, I was thinking about the month of November, and the fact that in a couple of minutes I would be living the reality of the last month of the year 2015, one thing kept coming to my mind- “thank you God for life.” Looking back to January first, how I started the year, where I was and where I am now, I couldn’t help but be grateful to God for giving the life I have used to achieve all I have today.
You and I know that if there is no life, all our hopes, dreams and aspirations are nothing. So if you think the life you have today is worth thanking God for, this is the time to say “thank you God for life.” You may not have achieved all you set out to achieve this year, but may I also remind you that you still have December. And gratitude can bring you into those things. It is a currency of the Spirit.
You are the next big thing. Make it happen!
